Hygge is a Danish word which means “creating a warm atmosphere and enjoying the good things in life with good people.” At Shakti in the Mountains, we are nurturing our inner witch by creating three special evenings over the course of this winter season.

Each evening will include a homemade dinner, make and take crafts, a ritual, and cozy gifts.

Space is limited to 8 women. Participants will need to wear a mask at all times and must be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Please let us know if you have any food allergies or restrictions.

Let’s gather this winter to illuminate our souls, to enjoy each other’s company, and to share the good in life.

Jennifer Hill is a New Jersey transplant who loves to cook, try and keep houseplants alive and has a love of farm animals (especially cows and goats). She has a passion for painting and loves to watch the canvas come to life.

Kim Bushore-Maki is a soul-driven entrepreneur who understands the undeniable urge to create a business and a life filled with meaning and purpose. Her vision of opening a center where women could heal and grow led her to open Shakti in the Mountains in Johnson City, Tennessee: a place where the creative, feminine energy is nurtured and valued.

Since 2010, Kim continues to build and to support a healthy, vibrant community and now guides retreats, teaches yoga, and provides one-on-one services for women who want an immersion experience into the life-affirming, Shakti energy.

Kim’s training as a therapist and yoga teacher allows her to safely and compassionately guide women on a heart-centered journey to Self, where women re-connect with their beautiful, authentic spirit.
