Connect with self, connect with breath, connect with creativity during these 1.5 hour long sessions for you make your thing in community with other makers.
Whether you dabble in watercolors, make baskets, like to bend wire, knit, crochet, or just like to color in a coloring book, please bring your art or craft* and come connect!
There will be a guided meditation at the beginning, middle, and end of each session to help relax us and get us in touch with our creativity and intuition.
The rest of the time is spent working on whatever projects our hearts desire, in community.
If you have been looking for a time and space to finish that thing, or finally make that project, or have been wanting a play date with other makers who are interested in connecting with their intuition and inner guidance as you make alongside one another, this is it!
Come get inspired!

*Shakti has many art supplies you are welcome to use including paper, 2-d drawing and collage media, and yarn (bring your own hooks/needles). You are welcome to bring whatever media you like that are conducive to a community making environment and are non-toxic. While we will be working on art projects, please remember that this is not a professional studio but a community space: we will be leaving the space as beautiful as we found it. Please do not bring projects require loud hammering or open flames (no soldering). Please DO bring: sewing, crocheting, knitting, watercolor, acrylic, oil paint (no turpenoid, turpentine, or derivative projects), beading, wire coiling, collage, coloring, or basket weaving, or whatever else feels conducive to a community making environment in a beautiful living room type setting that we may have forgotten to mention!
If you have a question about what to bring, email Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org
